The Megacentre is a charity with purpose of opening having a Centre as a Youth and Community facility for the benefit of the community. The Centre was first opened in April 1994 with the Megazone Laser Arena and the Youth Centre. Other facilities such as Soft Play, Sensory Room, Theatre, Music Practice Rooms, and Conference Rooms were added later.
They run a variety of programmes to support local young people and children including youth clubs, children’s groups, complimentary education, family programmes and 1-2-1 support. Their youth and family teams support over 500 individuals and families each year. They offer a wide variety of activities, parties and rooms for hire they also have a Community hub that brings together a range of services to help connect the community
